The Hadley Township Democratic Club will be hosting a forum for MRH School District Board of Education candidates. The election for BOE positions will be on the April 2 ballot.

We will be meeting in the Maplewood Richmond Heights High School auditorium.

Each candidate will give opening statements, and then the candidates will answer questions from the audience. At the end of the forum, each candidate will give closing statements as well.

Candidates at the forum include:
• Dale Chambers
• Nikylan Knapper
• Brad Jackson
• Brandi Herndon-Miller

PLEASE NOTE:
School Board is run as a Non-Partisan election, that is, without declaration of a party affiliation.

This forum is being run as a public service to the MRH community, which is a large part of Hadley Township.
Hadley Township Democrats will not issue an endorsement, and the participation of the candidates or any members of the public is not to be viewed as an endorsement or indication of any specific political affiliation.

School Board Members establish a shared vision for the schools that they represent which reflects a consensus of the board, community and district staff. The school board has a wide variety of additional responsibilities, such as adopting annual budgets and issuing interim financial reports, adopting the school calendar, negotiating contracts with employees (including the hiring of superintendents), approving curriculum materials and closing or constructing schools.

The Hadley Township Democratic Club will also be collecting canned foods for Weekend on Wheels, so please come with a donation. Weekend on Wheels is a program of the MRH School District which provides nutritious food packages for MRH families in need.
